UK PAL - Australian PAL

I know that Australia uses the PAL TV system but its slightly different ours in the UK is PAL I and theirs is PAL G. Would a VHS video sent to Australia work fine over there? I know that the games are ok but I'm not sure about tapes. Any help appreciated.

I have had a couple of friends send some vhs tapes from the UKK over here to Australia, and have played fine. Even long play tv compilations played how they should.

Aye, tis the same, I used to live in NZ before I moved here (more the fool me) and everything worked as normal. But, the VHS system is actually slightly different, I think, though that may have just been our crappy old thing not working

Yeah, I actually think in Australia some videos imported from Britain make it onto the shelves.
