sin and punishment (n64), gameplay modes: hard mode question

hello,
there is very few info on this game,
only one document on gamefaqs,
and I can't access to the hard mode of this wonderful game.

does any of you know how to unlock hard mode in this game?
it seems I can only access normal and easy mode.
I finished it on normal mode (with several credits).

help me please ....

The one by AstroBlue is particuarly good.

It is states in the codes section of gamefaqs that hard is unlocked when you beat normal mode.

If you havent unlocked it yet I assume you have to do it without losing a credit?

Anyhow, I have only just done it on easy so I am not that good yet .


EDIT: Just asked a S&P master and he says you can use as many credits as you wish on normal and will still unlock hard as long as you complete it.
