PC Engine Duo-R PSU/Stepdown?

I'm awaiting a Duo-R to wing it's way to me from japan, just wondered if there's a uk psu i can use on it (like a megadrive one or something)

Or am i better off just using a stepdown? This is the stepdown i've got

That's the one I use on my duo, works fine. Basely has supplied me with another pc engine along with a megadrive psu that works, but it's not a duo, so I'm not sure if it's the same.
