No picture on my Viewsonic LCD Monitor

Was happily using my Viewsonic VP201s LCD Monitor, when the screen decided to go black as if someone had turned off the light It still powers up etc..., just no more picture.

Has it died forever, or can it be fixed? It's been well used for years now, and I've never had any problems with it before.

Have you tried to connect the monitor to an other video card and a new monitor on your PC? maybe the monitor is fine but the video card is busted.

Well I've got a crappy monitor connected up to my PC now, and thats running fine. Not got access to another video card though.
