There's something seriously wrong with my Wii's display and it shows big splotchy blobs while playing certain games. I don't think it's no longer under warrenty and was looking at picking up a cheap second hand one, but I'm concerned about the 100 odd VC games I have. Is there any way to transfer them over to a new machine?

You can't do it yourself. You need to send it to Nintendo. It will cost you for the repair and transfer I expect, but might be cheaper than 2nd hand Wii I guess.
Actually Nintendo will only transfer your Miis, but you will be able to redownload the VCs on the replacement (not possible on 2nd hand effort).
Yes this is super lame. I refuse to give any more money to Nintendo's online "service" -
Won't all you VC Games just run off your SD Card (Assuming you have them all saved on one to start with).Comment

Nope. Even on SD card they are locked to the original Wii. The SD card functionality is purely to get over the limited size of the onboard memory.Comment

Nope they are licensed to one wii only, the wii they were purchased on. Trying to copy them to another wii & playing them will just come up with an error message.
I think your pretty much stuffed unless you send it in for repair.Comment
