I am returning to Britain with many wondrous bits of Japanese electronic hardware. Does anyone have any advice on what type and where to buy a step-down adapter for these beauties?

Maplin were doing a good deal on a 300W step down not so long ago. It's pretty chunky and only has one outlet, so you'd need an adaptor to run a dvd player and console (not the power crazed XBox obviously). -
I am looking for an all in one with, let's say, four plug ports for my various gadgets. Doable?Comment

My local Another World in Wolverhampton have a pretty good step-down for ?50. 300 watt, 4 outlets, and chunky as ****. "This is all the step-down you will ever need" said the guy behind the counter showing it to me.Comment
