Wii picture drops while in shop

I'm running my Wii through my Onkyo amp to the TV.
It takes it a fraction of a second to notice the wii is on normally, but in the shop, sometimes it just drops completely and says no signal

Any ideas?

If I press the home button, the wii menu overlay makes the signal come back but it drops again a few seconds after I press it again to return to the shop. The Wii menu looks lovely and crisp, but the shop doesn't. Is this some 480i problem?

hmm.. my wii drops the picture randomly while in a game but hasnt happened in a shop. im runnining it in 480p over component cables.

for me it drops and comes back, about 2 seconds later.

is it a general wii problem or only with LCD TVs?

I've only had that happen in a couple of cutscenes in RE:Umbrella Chronicles. No other games. Any pattern to yours?
