Is WE7 SwapMagic compatible?

Hi all,

I was under the impression that WE7 was SwapMagic compatible, but I have tried it on mine and get the pink screen all the time. It's not a huge problem as I have my chipped PS2 coming in a few days, but I would like to play it now if possible. Has anyone with SwapMagic go it to work?

Make sure you use the CD version of the disc. I've been playing it just now using swap magic discs

Aw jeez. I posted about a Dreamcast problem a few weeks ago that just need me to blow in the port. Now I post a problem and I am using the wrong damn boot disk

No probs mate, i tried with the DVD disc as someone said that boots everything and it didn't work then so thats how i know

Hmmm, the game itself works, but my patched version doesn't. Never mind, just need to learn Japanese

Mehh, i tried countless ways of burning a patched version and i didn't get it to work once.

I've got a fliptop lid with swap magic and it works fine...

Oh and I got the patched version to work first time as well :

1. Made a .BIN and .CUE image (using Easy CD creator I think, cant remember off hand).

2. Used PPF-O-MATIC to apply the patch to the .BIN file.

3. Burnt on CD at 4x using Nero 5.5

Works perfectly, boots first time, every time.

and burned the image at 4x on my Nero, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
