Gameboy SP advice???

Thinking of getting a Gameboy SP and wanted a bit of advise.

Just wondering whether to import or not, I live in the uk and wasn't sure if it was worth importing or to just buy the SP + Games from the Uk.

What are the advantages of importing?
Are games region incoded?
Can you play US games on a UK SP?

Also are Nintendo releasing an improved version soon?

And finaly what games are 'must have' on the Gameboy?

Limited Edition colours.

No.

Can you play US games on a UK SP?

Yes.
Some link up games are not compatible across regions though.
(ie Zelda US -> Zelda UK)

A disadvantage of an import SP is that you need a stepdown to charge it. Also if it's faulty you may have some hassles getting it replaced.
For something like an SP I'd get the UK model unless you fancy a limited edition variant.

Absolutely. And most of the SPs I've seen have at least one or two specks of dust inside the screen. I've had to return about 4 of them for this reason alone.

You can get third-party 240v chargers, from people like play-asia, if you want. Although, it's easier not to. :-P
