need a replacement needle for record player

I've got a bic sp85 series z record player, but I need a new needle for it cos the one its got is flat as a fart. Anybody know which type I should get for it? I had a look on ebay but there's loads of different stuff going on. Also, how difficult do you think it would be to replace the turntable belt?

Replacing the belt should be fairly easy (though I always prefer direct drive turntables, myself). Getting the right needle can be a pain. Got any photos, is it a cartridge or just the needle?

Well it's like a little block with the needle on it and a large pin coming out the back to connect to the electrickery, is that the cartridge? It's also possible to detach more of it, away from four little wires.

if i were you id just replace the whole cartridge as you can get them erry easily and cheaply. as for the belt it is easy as pie. hook it in the motor wheel and part way round the plater spindle, then rotate the spindle slowly with your finger and the belt should line itself you and even out smoothly.
thats what i do with my two current decks.
