Plasma connectivity question

Work related question, but here goes

I'm going to a conference in South Africa at the end of October and want to run some videos and live software demos from a laptop on what will almost certainly be an out of date (3 maybe 4 years old) plasma tele.

My Laptop has the normal VGA out and a DVI output. Will an old plasma be able to accept these or do I need to have a special box?

Im pretty sure there will be a VGA connection on the plasma, after all their main purpose initially was as a display tool used by businesses, as opposed to being a popular choice for AV enthusiasts now.
