    US PSone colour mod

is this possible? ive spoken to a guy who mods PAL PSone consoles so that they'll display imports in colour on a PAL only TV but would the same mod work on a US NTSC PSone to get it to play on my PAL only TV? or am i actually going to have to sheel out for an NTSC compatible tv?

Yes it's quite possible, but WHY you would bother is beyond me. Just use an RGB scart connection.

Probably about the same but you'll have a quality picture rather than a horirble grainy image. Thatof course depends on whether your TV has a rgb scart, but if it isnt too old i'd be suprised if it didnt.

3 years old should mean you have RGB on your tv. I'd buy an rgb scart cable if i were you

http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/...uctcode=PT0169 I hear thats the best cable about for the PS2 and i think PSone cables are exactly the same, but someone else can confirm that.[/quote]

That mod should NOT cost ?5.
It involves soldering a wire between 2 points.
                That's it.........
                20 second job.

                  Minimum charge.

Receive parcel, unpackage machine, test it, strip it down, solder the wire, build it up again, test it again, package it all up again, take it down the post office.

You want to offer that service for less than a fiver, be my guest.

They undoubtedly won't be RGB. Only composite for that money I'm afraid.
