Converting MP3 to AAC files for PS3

Does anyone know a good converter, as I can't seem to get it to work.

iTunes can do it. just make the MP3s part of the iTunes library, then set your default encoder in iTunes to AAC and then select the MP3s and choose to convert them.

I have found dbPoweramp to be the best on Windows by the way.

AAC is better quality but not if you are converting from an mp3 anyway.

Nope. It doesn't pick up the albums I have on MP3.

There's some other problem. PS3 play MP3 files just fine mate.

My 60gig plays all of my MP3's except for things purchased from iTunes. Have you made sure every option is ticked under sound settings?
