UK 360 PSU on a Jp 360

I have a UK 360m Elite (Falcon I think) with a 175W PSU.

Now I'm pondering getting a Jp Elite and I was wondering;

Is there any way of telling with a sealed box whether it'll be compatible?

If its a new Elite then it will be fine, as it will be a 175w machine, minimum. The early ones were 203w machines so wouldn't run on your psu, but there can't be any left on shelves anymore.

So, to hijack this thread rather than start a new one, my PAL Xbox 360 Arcade has a 203W PSU. Is there any danger using this to power a JAP Xbox 360 (probably an Arcade)?

Not really up on all this electricity stuff. Tend to just plug stuff in and hope it doesn't go 'BOOM'!!

Nope, no problems there. The oldest, highest-rated UK PSU (203w) will power ANY console, foreign or domestic.
