Is that xbox 1 or xbox 360?
If it's the old xbox, then the audio authority 1154 that someone here was selling recently (actually, it was Spatial), will do all the resolutions that those consoles can do.

The 360 can do 1080p, thus it's no good for that.
I use one of these:
I managed to get it from Ebay quite cheaply, so I was lucky. This one is very wide band (according to their site) and can do 1080p. It doesn't do audio, though.
I run my PS2 and Xbox 1 through it and can confirm that the resultant output is great. Marvel Ultimate Alliance on Xbox looks fantastic at 720p and SOTC in 480p looks about as good as the PS2 gets. -

Well, why don't you ask Spatial if his Audio Authority one is still going? That does do audio switching (both phono and optical/coax digital).
It's only a problem if you need 1080p support, but I'd imagine you'd use vga or hdmi for 360/ps3, no?Comment
