I've been hearing that changing controller type in SF4 between Controller and Arcade Stick affects how easy it is to do moves and stuff. Is there any truth in that or is it just to give six different controller setups (A-C for each controller)?
Reason I ask is I'm modding my stick right now for tonight and I don't have the patience to sort the triggers out so I'm using the X,Y,A,B,LB,RB for my buttons.
In the button config, this is Controller's TYPE-B layout but there are no default Arcade Stick layouts that use LB/RB for anything other than 3xP/K.
I need to know so that I can just quickly choose Controller's TYPE-B when playing in tourneys instead of manually changing things.
Also, is it me or is the custom layout shared between both controller and stick? Seems like it.
