Best light gun shell for the Wii?

Would like to get as close to the feel of a good light gun as possible with all the great light gun games on the system.

Also is Silent Scope on the PS2 compatible with light guns like the G-Con?

Nyko Perfect Shot for Wii isn't it? There's another model, which is exactly the same also.

Silent Scope for PS2 is not light-gun compatible full stop. Part 2 is amazing though I reckon. Being that the arcade technically wasn't a light gun game anyway the DS2 controls are very close to the original experience. A must-buy PS2 title IMO.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

If you like the feel of arcade styled 'guns' then the HotD Hand Cannon is probably best. Just bought it off of thehut for £6 and it has a proper meaty feel to it and grips very well although the calibration seems hit and miss (more a problem of the wiimote than the gun shell though)

Yeah, Nyko. I think there's a Datel copycat which is identical.

        It's a pistol btw.

Daragon, which game is calibrating wrong?

All of them by the looks of it, I have HotD Overkill on order but Link's Xbow is the only one I currently own.

It might be down to the fact that I'm an idiot, but the crosshair either keeps moving slowly of it's own accord or it moves way too fast. I have the wiimote calibrated correctly via the Wii's system menu but at times I end up with more than 2 blinking dots regardless of which setting it's on.

I might just buy the venom light blaster instead, supposedly an almost carbon copy of the Perfect Shot but costs less.

Thanks for the replies I might try one each of the Nyko Perfect Shot and the Handcannon since I wanna play 2 players anyway.

Does this thing work well with Silent Scope?

It's pricey but would it give the game something of the arcade feel?

I'm not convinced by the rifle for Silent Scope. The game is designed to be used with the DS2, and as the rifle doesn't actually have a screen built into the scope it won't replicate the arcade feel anyway.

I've got something like that for ps2, might actually be the same one, they were selling them in hmv for a fiver sometime last year.
They are actually very crap. I bought two and one broke within a few days.

It doesnt work with silent scope either iirc.

I'll go with a pad for silent scope then.

One last question, how do you remove the wrist strap on the Wii remote? I assume you have to take it off when putting it in a gun shell.

I've not tried Link Xbow. I wonder if it's like RE:UC in that it's actually working like a mouse rather than an actual pointer? HOTD overkill is pretty accurate and Ghost squad is spot on.
