argos scart box audio out?

Hey guys ive got the argos scart box and am trying to put the audio through my speakers on my pc, if i connect the speakers direct from my ps2 the sound is fine but if i try and get the audio from the box all i get is hiss

any ideas?

Are you taking the L+R audio from the correct set of phono ports? It's the outside set, as memory serves.

no im using the ones called tv output there 2nd on the left

Sorry to hijack your thread oracle, but can you confrim that the SCART box (the one with four SCART inputs on it?) gives an RGB picture? Just want to make sure before I buy one

You need to use 'output' not 'tv output'. Surely youve tried all combinations to see what works?

yeah but what do i do with my gamecube? its plugged in via component and those are the only ports which it works on
