    Getting online with Halo (Gamespy)

I have a PAL XBox with Halo and wanted to get online with it via gamespy.

I installed an ethernet card in my PC and connected Halo upto it with a standard ethernet cable (10Mbps).

I then installed gamespy on my PC and ran it. Everything seems to run fine on the PC and the network card seems to be installed ok (it is in my system devices without a problem).

However when I turn on the XBox I cant get in the "system link" option - it is greyed out.

I can join games in the gamespy software but cant get my XBox to see them.

Has anyone else had this problem, what am I doing wrong?

I have a USB ADSL modem also connected to my PC...

ok, this isn't really an answer but I've personally found xbconnect a little more willing to work. maybe you should try that.
