import ps2 advice?

Hi,

Im looking to buy a new ps2, and ive eyed one up but have afew questions i hope you might be able to answer.

Im hopeing to get a new jap midnight blue ps2 (scph-50000MB), the one that comes with 40gig HD and BB adapter.

my questions are:

Is this model of ps2 chipable with the messiah 2, i think the scph-50000 are, just need to make sure before i invest?

Will the jap harddrive be universily compatable with the pal, usa games that can use it?

Will the jap BroadBand Adapter be compatable over here in the UK.

any help you can give me will be much appriciated

I think this PS2 is not chippable at the moment, and there is new model out in Europe in a month time ie Black or Silver one. So it might be better to hang on for a month.
