Question 2 sounds like piracy to me. Not something we discuss how to do here.

apologies, my mistake. let me rephrase the question.

      2. Can I pay for one game on psn, download it onto my five psps, and play them simultaneously? (I'm surprisingly dextrous)

Well this is the most pointless thread ever. Go! is NO different in operation to any other PSP model. It's certainly not better than a 3000 either, not by a long shot.

If you have any brains about you then disregard the U.S. and Euro stores altogether, get on eBay or wherever, buy a lot of JPN points, enjoy.
        Kept you waiting, huh?

PSP Go has bluetooth for starters, meaning you can hook it up to a Dual Shock 3 controlelr, a bluetooth headset and tether it to a mobile phone for internet access where there is no wifi available.

It has no UMD so people are bound to be more curious amount DRM issues.

Free copies of Gran Turismo and 3 free games for Go owners as well.

Nobody knew for sure whether Sony had made any changes regarding DRM before today, hence this topic.

Nothing pointless about this thread Joe. Your post on the other hand...

No, my post is the best thing in this thread, and surely the most informative. Anybody who doesn't take advantage of the JPN store shouldn't be allowed to play games. It is far, far superior to the other stores.

Bluetooth aside Go! is EXACTLY the same. You add content to it in EXACTLY the same way you always have.

Also when running an FAQ you should actually be able to answer questions. However, I will help you...
It is NOT piracy for 5 people to club together to purchase and share a game. Sony LET you do that.

Thanks for answering my question, joe.

Further to your post, why is buying stuff from the jpn store better? For instance, is it cheaper, and won't buying from the jpn store present you with a language barrier?

Most content can be licensed to 5 machines at a time so technically it's not piracy but it has been mentioned on NTSC-uk a few times that it's not to be discussed as it involves sharing log in details.

There is or was a sticky in the PSN section I think which covered the details.

I have no idea if it's still not supposed to be discussed on here or not?

Yup Joe the JP store has a fantastic selection of classic games, cant read any of the titles so that doesnt help unless I`ve played them before.

This FAQ is an on going thing esp as the new firmware with new features came put this morning.

My input - the PS3 pad addition is fab - just dont press the PS button on the pad if you have it charging via your ps3 as it partners with the ps3 again.

Not a problem. It's a Sony thread, it is natural that I will win.

                    The JPN store:

                    A) cheaper
                    B) has faster release dates
                    C) will present you with a language barrier if you have some form of advanced brain damage. Otherwise a bit of trial and error will see you fine.
                    D) has content NO other store does
                    Kept you waiting, huh?

Sorry I cant read Japanese text so does that mean I have "some form of advanced brain damage"

                      Too much redbull Joe

Joe you need to calm down. Saying someone is brain damaged because they can't read enough Japanese to enjoy the Japanese version of Final Fantasy VII is ridiculous. You like Japan. We get it.

Sony most certainly do NOT allow you to club together to buy a game. Read their terms and conditions. Discussion of how to pirate software is not tolerated here.

You don't need to read the text, it's FULL of pictures. I suppose the uninitiated could always find out the game's serial number and find it that way. Only the games that you REALLY wouldn't want to play are the ones that you would have troubles with anyway.

Experiment why don't you. You'll have fun I promise.
I know I've been away, but this is still an IMPORT site isn't it?

Yes, but you're suggesting that PSP owner should ONLY import and ONLY from Japan.

I do not need to calm down at all. You need to learn to read. I didn't say ANYWHERE that anybody is brain damaged because they couldn't play a Japanese game. I said that you'd have to be pretty f'ing stupid if you couldn't negotiate the JPN store.

Likewise I never stated how to go about pirating software. I said that it is possible to club together to buy a title, which is licensed for use with 5 seperate hardware units. Howver this is done is up to the purchaser. If you think about it realistically. How many households are actually going to have 5 pieces of PSP or PS3? Exactly. They'd limit it to one unit surely? Maximise profits etc.

No. I informed that anybody who wanted to get better value for the price they've paid for their Go! would be very wise to pay a visit to the JPN store as it is infinitely better than the others. I don't recall putting a gun to anybody's head. Seeing as this is "supposedly" an import site. One would expect fellow gamers to have a grasp of playing an import game.

I gather I'm wrong though because I did not suggest downloading Super Generic Western Platformer part 16?
