70W Stepdown okay for ntsc-j DC?

Checked the ntsc-uk faq and it recommends a 75w stepdown for a dreamcast. Will i be ok with 70w? Thanks.

or if you can find a cheap pal unit to open up the dreamcast and change over the power supply so no stepdown needed ?

My original launch jap one came with a 50w stepdown and that worked fine.

I used mine for years with a 40W stepdown, never had any problems.
