Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector installation help

This is driving me nuts.

I'm using XP, and everything seems to go normal until I get "Internet Conection Sharing error. (6)" towards the end of the install.

I've done a bit of googling and tried pretty much everything that has been suggested, with no luck.

If anyone can assist me I'd be very grateful. The boy is driving me mad about having Facebook on his DSi, and I may strangle him if I cannot shut him up soon.

I take it you can't just set it up on your wireless router (assuming you have one)?
I think I had the same problem on DSL. Do you have the newest drivers?

The DSi is not compatible with my set-up, hence me having to use the connector.
It's when trying to install those latest drivers (1.07) that I get the problem. Seeing as I cannot install the software I have no way at all of getting online with the DSi, which sucks.
Nintendo are lame at online stuff IMO. I'll convince the boy to trade the DSi in against a Go!

My USB WIFI stick got chucked long ago. Usless bit of kit that did nothing but crash for me.
