Hi..I want to leave a computer on 24/7 (or for the best part that)

I don't want to go in to too much information, but I will give you enough so you understand the situation.

Its going to be running an automated bot (not bought) for live gambling.

I obviously want to do extensive testing..so I just want something small and hidden out the way so I can just check stuff - needs to be reliable.

Anyone give me advice (apart from gambling advice)

could just get an atom based system:

Laptops and Atom based systems will use similar amounts of power (about that of a low energy bulb)

oh yeah, and simple poker bots will be learnt by skilled players and cleaned out. Be careful :P

Agree with abigsmurf, better a desktop Atom-based system rather than leaving on a notebook 24/7.
