    Monitor/TV advice & recommendations needed...

    Hey everyone,

At the moment I have my consoles that I play on connected to my Sony in the living room. However I will be moving some of my systems to my bedroom so I need a new monitor or TV to play them on. My budget is around 200 pounds and I would like at least 20 inches.

I will be keeping my PS3 in the living room to watch Blu-rays on the large screen, so my requirements for my other consoles on the new monitor/TV are...

    HDMI for Xbox 360
    VGA for Dreamcast
    Component for PS2
    Scart for Gamecube

I can live without the scart as i'm thinking of connecting my Gamecube to a CRT Sony I have in the home.

    I've found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-M227WD-Mo.../ref=de_a_smtd

Does 1080p on a screen of that size make a difference?

Is there any other good monitors with the connections I need?

    Thank you.

1080p won't make any difference unless you are using it as a PC monitor or sitting with your face against it.

the beauty of using 1:1 pixel mapping/just scan on a 1080p setting (ie from an xbox 360/ps3/blu ray) is you get a full picture with no overscan

i dont think many people realise is that a 720p image loses around 4% of the picture.
