    iphone and new PC question

My old PC died and now I need to put itunes on my new PC running Windows 7 (64 bit) but this will wipe my iPhone.

Is there a quick easy and free piece of software that will back up my iPhone's info that you can recommend and then copy it across to iTunes so my songs and iPhone data is preserved?

    Many thanks.

Is the iPhone jailbroken? I'm not sure you'll find anything that can do it on official software.

Not jailbroken. So do I have to do an iPhone restore and then manually put it all back on?

I think the best you're gonna be able to do is export your iTunes library and it's contents to your new setup, and have your iPhone do a restore.

          SharePod

          1) Don't connect your IPod to your new computer.
          2) Install iTunes on your new computer
          3) Download SharePod
          4) Make sure iTunes is not running on your new computer
          5) Plug in your iPod and copy Sharepod to the root of its drive.
          6) Run Sharepod, easy to use, tell it you want to copy the iPod tunes to the installed iTunes.
          7) Voila.

(Read the Sharepod instructions in case I missed something, but really - super simple)
