    DLNA Music Client Hardware...

    Is there anything on the market that can receive music from a DLNA server but that has its own display? I'm after somethign for the living room that can be plugged into an amp but also something for the kitchen that has speakers built in.

    Cheers

    I bought a Freecom Musicpal as an internet radio but I think it also does this, if DLNA=UPNP.
    They are quite hard to find new now but some pop up on ebay.

        Squeezebox != DLNA :-(
        I have a DLNA NAS box already (Buffalo LinkStation Live) so the clients must support DLNA.

        That Freecom MusicPal is interesting though. Only states WMA and MP3 support but I'll have poke around a bit more. Thanks chaps.

          Ooops sorry about that. Erm. Plug the NAS into a super low power linux box? (I like squeezeboxes)

          The top end Sony Bravias support DLNA. *Slightly* bigger screen then you probably wanted though

          You can get modded xboxs with little media screens on so you can use XBMC without seeing a TV.

          I'm not helping am I.

            The Musicpal runs an embedded linux so is very hackable.
            I've added a USB port and samba so far
