    Will my not very good Laptop run Left 4 Dead 2?

    My friends keeps telling me to grab Left 4 Dead 2 to play with them online on the PC. Thing is, I'm not sure if my laptop will run it or not. Anyone help?

    My specs are:

    Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.20Ghz,
    2GB RAM
    GeForce 8400M GS 256MB
    Tags: None

        I've played it on a laptop with an 8400m GS. It works fine if you're fine playing it in lower graphical settings, but I'd get it on console if I were you.

            Well, I've played it in a Core2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM and 8400m GS 128. In lowest texture settings etc at 800x500 It would be anywhere between 60fps and 30fps. Very much playable, but you'd have to be happy with it not really being a looker. The laptop I used was only 13" so it didn't really matter, but it might be more noticable on a 15".

              I'm in the same position as hoolak, but my graphics is the integrated Geforce 8200M and i have 4gb of ram

              Can i get a decent frame rate/graphical quality balance with these specs? I'm thinking of picking it up on 360 as well at some point anyway but i really want to play it online with my mate who's a PC gamer through and through

                I've taken the plunge. It's currently 18.99 on Gameplay.

                I don't mind lowering all the gfx in order to get a decent framerate. My native resolution is 1280x800, so I may be looking at a blurry lo-res texture orgy

                  Minimum settings and low res. Horrible graphics but it *should* be playable.

                      It'll fly in 1200 x 800. My bro-in-laws is virtually the same spec and it looks decent on his and whips along with no judder what so ever.
