Mac Gaming - any hidden gems out there?

After selling all my consoles a while back, I fancy giving the odd game a whirl again. Physical media or download only don't mind either way.

Are there are hidden gems for the Mac I might not be aware of? any suggestions welcome, I like most genre's.

They're not 'hidden' by any stretch of the imagination, but pretty much the only games I play on my Mac are Warcraft & Football Manager

To be honest, anyone who could right games on a Mac has turned their attention to the iPhone as it uses the same dev SDK, harder to pirate and easier to sell.

You not seen the articles about iPhone levels of piracy? the one that sticks in my mind is the game that sold 55 copies but there were over a thousand different people on the online leaderboard. One sale for every 20 pirated copies. Ouch.

The problem here is that there are lots of sites out there where you can download the cracked iPhone apps already, not to mention Usenet and other resources flooded with them.
