pal metroid and freeloader question

Can any1 confirm if PAL metroid works on a US cube with 1.06B?
I`ve tried a few searches but have drawn a blank I have 1.06b and it doesn`t work just gives a black screen.

Alright m8, I had the same problem trying to run my PAL copy of Metroid on my modded Panasonic Q, but after a quick email to Datel, they replaced my Freeloaded to 1.06B free of charge and it seemed to do the trick.

There is one thing though, I have to hold down the B button and run it in 60hz to get it in colour, but not sure if thats down to my telly or whatever

Thanks for that pal I`ll mail em in a mo. Yes I get the same thing with pal starwars rl until I switch it to 60hz. but it works fine.

If you try to run a PAL game at 50Hz on an NTSC gamecube, your telly gets a 50Hz NTSC signal. With regular Composite, it is in black and white, but with an RGB cable, it runs in colour.

I had the same problem when trying PAL Waverace on my Japanese cube...
