Been looking for a region free Blu-ray player myself - the mark up on some of the modded machines is absolutely bloody mental

Yeah, they do take you for a ride there. If you're good enough with a soldering iron to do it yourself or know someone who can, it's much cheaper to buy the player and then get the mod kit separately. They're not for inexperienced modders, though.
