Don't worry, folk can't resist mate.

btw, that looks like a different make of splitter that I had, B something. BTE? Whatever, but perhaps Argos can't always source the plastic one, hence the metal version.

Ahh. It's the same company that makes the 'composite splitter that works for component too'

Only problem now is that the buttons are on the front, so you need to hold the splitter while pressing the button. The old one was great cos you just leap up and bash the required button and cos the buttons were on top, the splitter doesn't slide all over the place.

You know we have it good when we moan about things like that .

I have another, similarly petty moan - I already have 3 of the old style boxes, I dont want to add one of those to it - it will look all weird and inconsistent.

But how do you stick the velcro to whatever is underneath?
Mine are on the back section of my overly large TV (can't be seen from the front) and there's no way I'm gluing velcro to my TV. Otherwise Velcro would be an excellent plan. Perhaps I could used velcro to velcro the velcro on. This is important.

                      Looks familiar....
I long for the day when wireless connections are up to the job. Then could just keep the consoles in the cupboard (with a massive hole on the side of the cupboard obviously for the heat extractor fan).

You can buy stick on velcro from most DIY stores. The glue on it is also not too nasty and has not managed to cause any distress to my TV. Obviously cut into nice neat pieces. And if you did want to remove it a nice mild alchol will get it off without damaging your TV.
