Accidental Damage to TV covered by home insurance

We've just got a 50" plasma and we're looking at mounting it on a wall. Not quite sure how the two of us will manage it but there's a chance we could mess up.

Would home contents insurance cover us messing up and dropping the TV?

Without wanting to sound flippant it depends if you have accidental damage cover.

Does your home contents insurance policy have accidental damage included? Some do, some don't. If it doesn't, you'd have to claim something like the mounting bracket failed and the TV fell off the wall.
