I'm getting my Xbox chipped...help needed!

I've 2 Xboxes & have decided to get one chipped. Mainly to play mame + other emulators. I need abit of advice, although I've had many consoles chipped (Saturn, PS + Z64) the Xbox scene leaves me a little confused.

1. What is the best chip to use & what sort of price should I be looking at for an installation?

2. Are there any Programs I need, and more importantly are any of these available for Mac (Apple).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

1. You should definitely go for the Xecutor 2.2 Lite, fully flashable and switchable for Live play. Your probably talking about ?50 for chip + installation.

2. There are numerous apps available for various things, although I don't think any are available for Macs.

Actually there are quite a few xbox apps specifically for macs. Check out Xbox Scene and their forums for more specific details.
