Tried to create bootable flash drive...failed

    Hi guys,

I've just tried to create a bootable flash drive using the HP Drive Key utility and having run through the options it now shows my 8 gig flash drive as only having 3.56 gig capacity (which is no use as the ISO I was trying to load exceeds this). I'm trying to get my copy of windows onto my netbook but having run through the standard reformat options - both to FAT32 and NTFS - the capacity is still showing as being far lower.

    So, is it banjaxed?

*I seem to have fixed it using a piece of flash recovery software, feel free to delete mods*

I think the HP utility is for DOS only so you will need to create a partition of 2Gb max and format it in FAT which is not suitable for what you want to do.

Various methods to do this - Google 'install windows from usb stick'
