Wondering how this version compares with the Japanese standalone version?

I know it runs pretty much full screen but has the speed been optomised too to run as fast as the Japanese version?

Haven't played the PAL release but I've read in reviews that the entire collection runs at 50hz with no 60hz option, regarding your question about speed, it's supposedly slower as well according to this review.

I think the JP standalone version is the only one that supports FF wheel support too.

If it's any consolation, VR seems to be the *star game* in the PAL version, with a semi-optimised, almost full-screen display for that particular game (though in any state, I don't think time has been kind to it).

I don't entirely trust that review, coming from such a negative standpoint as it is. They made *some* kind of effort with VR, it seems to me.

(Though as a further impetus to seek the US version out, I think it has Alien Syndrome on it, too, which the UK version lacks.)
