Question about Cable Broadband (Telewest or Ntl)

    Just wondering....

What kind of connectors does the box at the wall take? is it the standard BT Connector (RJ12 or whatever the hell it is) or the more usual block american style connector?

Also, will the engineers provide the cabling when installing, or, do i have to provide this myself? If so, im going to have to purchase the cable

hi, i just had ntl broadband installed in my bedroom and the conector at the wall is the same type as they use for there TV, so if you havent got a tv pack with ntl they will install a box on your wall then attach a lead to that which then connects to there cable modem which the plugs into your pc(via usb or network card) .
they provide you with all the wires and modem so you don't need to worry. the only thing you need to do is install the software(20mins max)

    hope this helps you

if you want i can take some pics to show you what they did.(conectors, modem etc)
