can someone help i have a new 360 can i just re download my arcade games

Ive got a launch 20 GB machine and have just bought and Elite, if i recover my gamer tag to my new machine can i just download my arcade games again , or do i need to do something else, if i buy a transfer cable will that do it all for me. thanks for any help

Yeah, you can just recover your Gamertag and then go into your download history and grab it all again.

One thing is that I'd use the licence transfer after you've recovered the Gamertag but before you download anything. That'll download them licensed to the new machine so that you can play without being connected to Live.

thanks a lot for that i take it for all my saves i would need a transfer cable is that correct

A mem card can be used to transfer 99% of saves if you don't want the hassle of HDD transfers.
