I use Chrome and Firefox at home depending on what PC I'm one, but as one of them is out of order right now, Chrome has been used the most for the last few months. At work, Internet Explorer and Chrome.

Tried Chrome but it didn't like some websites. Firefox seems to have everything covered and is almost as fast to boot up and is just as fast for Javascript etc. Used to use Opera, but prefer the way Firefox autoupdates. Less hassle.

Charles, is there anyway you could edit the poll I made so all users can vote, and not just blue/subscribed members?

Had to make a new thread and new poll. Hope it works now. If not, sign up to be Blue.

Chrome. Used to be a Firefox user, but it's quickly becoming Bloatware.
I switched to Chrome for the same reasons I switched to "Firebird" in 2002: minimal and fast.

I'd like to use Safari because it just springs open in an instant on my Mac but I can't live without the various script and adblocking extensions in Firefox.

To be honest though, Firefox only takes a few seconds longer to load and once they're loaded I can't really tell any difference in speed etc. when it comes to general browsing.

Got my Samsung NC10 Netbook (with Win XP Home SP3) at Xmas. Like an idiot, I upgraded from IE6 to IE8. If ever there was a browser SO not made for Netbook use, it's IE8. Slow, clunky, stuttery, jittery and awful.

Downloaded Google Chrome soon afterwards. I've not looked back since. If ever there was a browser tailor-made for Netbooks, it's Chrome. Without a doubt.

I use Firefox, though I'm basically holding out for a Chrome version of NoScript.

Chrome, ever since the beta was released. Fast, light and had hardly any problems. Used to get the beach ball all the time with firefox when it had anything more than 10 tabs. Like the others though, can't vote.

Wow, just found the plug in extensions for Google Chrome...

Opera, although the HSBC UK website practically forces you to use Firefox or IE if you want to check what your credit card has been used to purchase.

I sent them a message saying that I use Opera as I don't like the browsers they support (IE, Firefox and Safari). The typical reply came back: "please use a supported browser".

                          *sigh*

Opera here 'cos its fast and like the built-in features ( especially tabbed browsing, mouse gestures, URL nicknames, session restore, tab previews, and Speed Dial), which other browsers have slowly seemed to have copied.

                              I can't vote, but anyway:

Camino at home (on a G4 Mac). I used to use Safari but v4 seems to continually access the HDD and the noise annoys me, and I don't like the fonts/text rendering in Firefox.

IE8 and Firefox at work. IE8 is used on my Windows machine (for website/application compatibility), Firefox on my Linux machine (just because it is installed by default and is stable).

I would use Chrome all round but can't for compatibility reasons.

Does Opera support plug ins? If so, you may be able to find a IE compatibility plug in, that lets you view a web page through IE, but on Opera?
