    Yes I noticed that with the Japanese Sega Saturn. The composite output is still pretty vivid and colourful, but I do run it through a dinky little professional video monitor, so maybe it's cleaning up the signal.

      If it's a professional video monitor, it's probably leaving it 100% alone.
