Its certainly setup for dual analogue control atm, probably more of a console game.

I'll be downloading it soon myself, but anyone care to confirm if the demo does online multiplayer?

Very enoyable, i had problems at first until i found the 1st preson view , i love the new feel, the new places to hide and the way the map slowly turns to nothing (Air striking a bridge of worms is the bomb )

i can never get an airstrike to work, it always ends up somewhere in the sea. everything is going to take some getting used to but it's looking pretty good

i've just had a quick play with it and have to say it's really works well in 3D the only thing i don't like are the controles but i suppose i'll get used to them eventually, also i found a glitch(error) when i blew one of the worms up he got stuck buy a tree and the ground a kept shaking and none of the buttons worked it was just suck there. so i hope they sort this out for the final version, other than that it is a really good game.

              Very good.
It seems to have the old worms style down nicely too. Shame the console versions wont have online multiplayer, unless someone knows something i dont?

Hmm.. I can't seem to get it to work. I get to the bit where it tells you the keys (the first screen) but when i click on the bomb the logo appears as if its loading and a few moments later an error appears saying something like 'the instruction at 0x142f254 referenced memory at ox32c423c2. the memory could not be read.' Any ideas whats wrong?

looks like that one was an unofficial leaked demo. apparently its quite an old version, team17 have released an official demo today ahead of their planned scheldule.

                    here

they're also being good enough to give advice on their forum to people who are having problems with the leaked one

Well it means that a certain instruction in the game's code tried to reference a location in memory that was either protected or uninitialised.

From where it happens it sounds like the bug could have something to do with a missing or corrupt datafile that the game needs to load up say a menu, sound or animation. Being a very sloppy programmer I tend to see a lot of these errors in my own games.

Try reinstalling before doing anything as drastic as updating directx or your videocard drviers.

There a fix for that Here and the official demo from the link above.

If your unsure which ones which, the unofficial one is 100mb and the official is about 60mb.
