Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE in the UK?

Are any UK websites selling the Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE ?

It's not on Amazon or other sites I've looked at.

    Thanks.

You got me excited then... afaik no, they don't exist over here Amazon US have them, and even had a pretty mindblowing sale on them over the Christmas period, but no sign of them here. Real shame IMO, as I'd love one for shmups to go alongside the SFIV TE for fighters.

Becuase your usual Joe in the street doesnt need one.

I'm still surprised we got the Madcatz TE's to be honest.

As far as most people are concerned they dont make you better at Fifa or COD so why buy them.

The UK market just isnt big enouugh for 2D Fighyers & Shooters anymore so Hori dont feel the need...my local GS & Game have stock piles of unsold Hori EX2's & Madcatz Sticks at ?40 a pop so why would people spend even more for niche LE???

I wish they would release them personally though I covet the SE something fierce but cant afford the Import cost

It's a shame but unless it's all uber flashy graphics, involves gratutious violence & a bucket load of swearing then people arent interested.

Plus Shooters & Fighters are fairly hardcore IMO so take real time & skill to play them properly & people just dont want games like that anymore.

I long a return to the SNES/MD heydey when 2D ruled the roost & platformers, fighters & shooters were 2 a penny

I think the VSHG was japan only also, have one of those. Doubt I'll ever need a new stick with my VSHG and EX-SE.

I asked both of the two US sellers currently selling this stick on eBay if they would mark down the value on the declaration, one has replied that they would not.

They're so much now, madness. Plus you'd want to upgrade the buttons to sanwa, you'd probably be better off with an EX regular, unless there's a reason you want an EX-SE? (LS-32 would be it I presume?)

I read that Semitsu buttons were better for shooters, more responsive? There is an EX-SA also, with Sanwa parts...

Sanwa buttons I am happy with, but for shooters it's the Seimitsu LS32 stick I'd be after. Just a shame I am a chump when it comes to modding.

Hmm, proper Sanwa buttons are feather-touch and very responsive. The difference between those and Hori stock was night and day. The Seimitsu stick will be a must if you want a responsive stick without too much travel for shmups.
