    Yeah, that's for PS3.

It's the seimitsu stick that's more responsive. Sanwa buttons are super sensitive - the stock EX-SE buttons clack too.

I may be wrong but doesn't the Futari HRAP have an LS-32?

Might be an alternative for some.

My EX-SE came to around ?130 including the premium shipping rate form Arcadeshock. Sailed through customs too. Not sure what it'd cost now but it can't be too different.

Not cheap but looking at what peeps were paying for TEs this time last year (and are still paying) it's not bat at all.

Beautiful stick. An absolute pleasure for shooters.

If the Sanwa buttons are really that much better then in all honesty just pick up the EX from Amazon for £93 ish & then get yourself over to Arcadeshop.DE & pick up an LS-32 stick for £18 plus delivery.

Pretty sure the EX is quick disconnect for the stick so swithcing the Sanwa over should be easy enough (Mr Pavey will be able to confirm as he modded a EX to all Seimitsu parts)

Or try to find a cheap second hand SFIV TE & then switch the Sanwa out for the LS32 (If you keep an eye on AV Forums the TE's normally crop up for around £70ish)

Oh wow, didn't realise/remember the RAP Ex (spaced as it feels very wrong calling it RAPEx) is available over here. I'm guessing it's all hori stock parts though?

I think it might have a JLF, but I'm unsure.

Yes the Futari stick has an LS-32. But sanwa buttons for it would be £20~, postage would be lots, customs etc. (From P-A.)

            My friend has one.

Sanwa JLF Stick & Hori buttons.

The buttons are deffinitley Quick Disconnects though so easy to switch out for OBSF-30's or Seimitsu equivelants.

It's only the stick that I'm not sure on being QD.

I bought one a couple of months back.

As you say buttons have QD's so I was able to stick in some Seimitsu's sharpish (the Hori's are pants). The JLF is soldered though so not so easy to replace.

It's also a bit more time consuming to dismantle than the EX-SE as you need to go in through the underside and remove a ton of screws etc.

                  I've got a LS-32 in mine.

As stated, the OEM stick in the HRAP-EX doesn't have quick disconnects. The wires are soldered directly to the microswitches so if you're doing a Seimitsu swap, you'll need a LS-32, and not a LS-32-01 (which has a common ground PCB and 5-pin harness).

Tbh, a friend fitted my stick for me but I watched him do it and it looked pretty straightforward and didn't take long. You just need to label what the up/down/left/right wires are before removing them from the JLF and then re-solder them directly to the switches the same way on the new stick.

Alternatively, you could even eliminate the soldering process altogether by just cutting the wires off the old stick and crimping on .187" QDs to connect up the Seimitsu with.

One final thing to note is that the LS-32 comes with a flat "RE" mounting plate as standard, which will fit fine and everything but the stick will sit slightly lower than it ought to. Use an S-shaped "SS" plate instead and problem solved.

I'm going to order the EX-SE from Arcade Shock (thanks Atticus for the site). I just wanted to make sure, if I wanted to change the buttons to Sanwa, is it easily done on this stick?

                    Thanks.

                    EDIT:

I emailed Arcade Shock and they said it does have quick disconnect. I've now ordered one.

                      Awesome stuff

How much did it set you back in the end?

They're a bitch to get off though and they're not sleeved. But even so, yeah, really easy to do.

                        You'll need pliers.

I followed this thread when I forst modded my HRAP - it shows a PS2 stick, but all the principles (for QD buttons) are the same.

It's easy peasy, citrus fruit squeezy.

                            Nice buy

I'd give the Seimitsu buttons a bit of time before diving in and replacing them though. I prefer them over OBSF-30s, especially for tapping

The EX-SE has hex on the top so no need to unscrew bottom though, as mentioned before.

I'm keen to see how the EX-SE order comes through from Arcadeshock too - price/customs/etc wise. I'd love one, it was hugely disappointing to see that sale on Amazon US for them recently that I couldn't take advantage of.
