    Xbox 360 PAL-60 Mode?

I did a search for this but could find nothing but I'd be amazed if I was the first to ask this question so I apologise in advance for re-asking it.

After playing Feeding Frenzy 2 on my PS3 I found the first one on the 360 and thought I'd give it a go as it was only 400 points. When trying to play it I keep getting an error message telling me that the game doesn't support the PAL-50 format and that I need to change my display settings to PAL-60.

I've never chosen any PAL settings and as I'm playing in HD via HDMI so any PAL and NTSC settings are irrelevant. I've had a look online and several sources tell me it's an option in the Screen Format section which is greyed out for me.

Does anybody know if there is a way around this or have I just wasted 400 points?

This happened to me ages ago plug it in via the standard lead (composite) and it should let you change it to pal 60 then go back to using your hdmi

That seems a really backward thing to have to do to change a setting that bears no relevance for what I'm wanting to do. Not even sure where my composite leads are, may have a look after though.

      Thanks.

It's been a problem on a handful of titles ever since launch, one always pops up now and again... I'm shocked that some new games still have this problem.

You're right – it's a stupid setting, but it's something that you should only need to do once as all 360 games support 60Hz thanks to a Microsoft decree.

You're right, it's bit of a pain but hardly the worst thing ever and it's done now.
