Pal PS1 from PSN, on a US PS3

Erm,

So my friend in the US desperately wants PS1 Theme Park from the EU PSN, is it going to work on his machine due to the 480/576 thing?

Maybe it'll work in HD resolutions only?

I don't want to waste money thats all.

Yeah, will only work through HDMI/Component.

I downloaded Jumping Flash off the UK PSN onto my JP PS3 before I got a HDTV and it wouldn't run through RGB but did once I used HDMI.

So it won't work in SD resolutions but using HDMI 720P/1080P should be fine. thats cool then.

Yeah, it's kinda lame, but as long as he uses HDMI then he should be fine.

Can confirm, I've got a US Launch PS3 and I use PAL PSone Classics from the UK Store all the time with no problem.

Thats with it being hooked up with HDMI as stated above.
