Xbox premium warranty.

Can anyone tell me the warranty on a Premium xbox purchased at xmas 2008?
My mates machine has just destroyed his World Cup 2010 disc and he is gutted. I remember something about a 3 year warranty but not sure.

Go on the MS site, put in the serial and it'll tell you I think.
