Also, if it's a MegaDrive 1, only the headphones port at the front gives Stereo sound, the rear will always output Mono.

The MegaDrive 2 fixed this.

Wow. Someone who is in the dark about this in 2010. How endearing. Seriously. Anyway, as said. RGB Scart with a 3.5mm stereo out, you can't get better.
