Instructions for making PS pad ports for arcade cabinet?

I need some instructions of how to make a playstation pad port for the arcade cabinet in game focus. Bear in mind that is cabinet is a Model 2/3 arcade machine which is currently running Virtua Striker.

Any help would be appreciated.

Personally the sticks and stuff are good enough, so you should have a reason for wanting to hack up a machine...

Well its to run PSX Pads on an arcade machine. Reason? So that ppl who want to play on a pad rather than a stick, can do so.... And hot-swappable. Stick should still be operational once the pads are plugged in...
