Password Protecting Folders in XP

Is there any way I can add a password to a folder in XP Home? Thanks

Right click on folder, then the sharing tab, then make folder private.

Does making it private just stop people on a netwrok seeing it, im talking about people on my computer.

It stops other users on your machine seeing them but theres only my documents and settings which you can make make private. With networks people can only see the folders you share.
