Is the new Xbox dashboard up?

Logged on for the first time in about 2 months and I'm still on the old dashboard, is the new one still running?

If it's for Xbox live you should have had a little message appear telling you that you need to upgrade the dashboard. It will then just download automatically...

not received anything? I loaded up about 5 live games and all I received was the standard updates for those.

I think that they have taken he update down for the time being whilst they make it the proper LIVE 2.0 update as the one we have just had was 1.7

you need to start up Live via the old dash - with no game in the xbox.

Dont put a game in, just try and get on XBL through your dashboard as if you were checking your friends list or account details for example. You should be able to do it from there .

i've been away for a couple of weeks, went online yesterday to upgrade the live, and got nothing also, no update at all, and with no game/s in the machine.

Try again today. I logged on yesterday evening and had to install another update. So it could be back up...

It is back up.

My Xbox received the update to the new LIVE 2.0 dashboard yesterday.

You gotta do it without a game in the machine - check your freinds list via the dash or something, it'll update.

I received an update to the new dash last night too, seems to work a little smoother so I dunno if they've fixed some bugs or what. It was all very PC-ish though - the update said it needed to "restart" my XBox once the download was complete

edit: Strider, isn't your machine chipped? Maybe that is preventing the update?
